Finally Paypal Resumed Bank Withdrawals In India

After a long time, finally Indians got a good news from paypal. The personal Account is sill banned by paypal in india but now Paypal Resumed Local Bank Withdrawals In India. Now all indians can transfer their money from their paypal account to their local bank. This is the mail which I got from the paypal regarding the resuming of the bank withdrawal

We have been diligently working with the RBI and our business partners to resume Indian bank withdrawals for the thousands of Indian businesses who depend on PayPal to sell their goods or services in the global marketplace. Today, we are happy to announce that the RBI has allowed us to continue local bank withdrawals for settlements for exports of goods and services. We are currently making changes to comply with Indian regulations for settlements for exports of goods and services, and we anticipate that, as of Wednesday, March 3rd, customers will be able to use our bank withdrawal service. As part of the changes, you will be required to fill out a new field entitled 'Export Code' when you request a withdrawal. This information is required under the current laws of India in order to identify the nature of cross-border merchant transactions. On Monday, March 1st, we will be back in touch with specific instructions on how you can move your money into your bank account. Moving forward, the RBI has told us that PayPal needs specific approvals to allow personal remittances to India, which we currently do not have. Until we get these approvals, personal payments into India will remain suspended. However, if you are an exporter, you will continue to be able to use the PayPal service for payments of goods and services. In fact, with the changes we are making to our system, PayPal is now set to be a more powerful engine for exporters in India. With purpose codes for export transactions and FIRCs (Foreign Inward Remittance Certificates), you should now be able to get the export related benefits you seek. You can check the PayPal blog for additional updates.

We thank you for your business and for your patience during
the past few weeks.
Sincerely,
PayPal

On March 4, this news has been confirmed and posted on the Paypal Blog. But the problem is not solved yet. The new option is added to withdrawing the money, called as "Purpose Code".
This is what posted on paypal blog :-

When you select the ‘Withdraw Funds’ option on your PayPal account, we will ask you to fill out a new field entitled ‘Purpose Code’. This information is required under the laws of India in order to identify the nature of cross-border merchant transactions. Simply select the one most appropriate for your business. More details on purpose codes can be found here

Lets Move Forward And Stop This Phishing

Phishing is the Criminally fraudulent process to make the users fool and acquire their private information’s like user names, passwords and credit card details etc. It is well known as Hacking. A Phishing technique was described in detail in a paper and presentation that was delivered to the International HP Users Group in 1987.

Regarding the attacks of phishing, in 1996, Hackers team hacked the accounts of the AOL users and that news was quite popular those days. Not only this, in 2004 also, lots of websites were infected by virus due to which people lost their all data.

It is estimated that between May 2004 and May 2005, approximately 1.2 million computer users in the United States suffered from phishing, approximately US$929 million were lost at that Time. Also in UK, losses from web banking fraud - mostly from phishing - almost more than £23.2 million in 2005.

How to identify the Phishing?
Internet artist what they do, they just create the website which looks like the company website so when a user visit that hackers website, it is very difficult to identify whether it is fake website or not. So how to identify the Phishing? Simple way to identify is to check the domain name. Because domain name cannot be the same. Hackers mainly use the domain name which looks like the same as that of the company website. For Example if they create a fake Orkut website then they choose www.okrut.com as a fake domain name so that it looks www.orkut.com

What are the Recent Attempts of the Phishing?
Social networking website which are quite popular all over the world, are the prime target of the phishers these days. Phishers try to hack the users account so that they can get their personal details. Not only social networking websites but also Rapidshare file sharing website has been targeted by phishing to obtain a premium account, which removes limit of downloading and also provide the fast speed on downloading the files.

How to Prevent from the Phishing?
NEVER click on a link in an email in order to enter your login information or password. Instead, if you think the email may be legitimate, go directly to the company website using your Internet Explorer. Always use a company's official website to submit personal information. Call the company, if still in doubt about what the email says.

How to Stop the Phishing?
Contact the Internet Crime Complaint Center at www.ifccfbi.gov , which is a partnership between the FBI and the National White Collar Crime Center. If you get any email and you thing it is a fake one & send by the phishers then simply forward that email at spam@uce.gov

Hope you will more forward and help the world in stopping this Phishing.
